Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most famous role was in the role of Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting when she was in the Preparatory School. The late 70's, her family relocated to Ohio. She was a student at Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working in the theatre in the Chicago region for a couple of years prior to trying her hand at TV as well as films. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular guest on TV and in films, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons during the 2000s. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully was also one of her roles. Gunn is also a part of the the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn played in a 4-part audio-play series called "Numbered days". Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and their eventual break up echoes final years in Walter White's personal life.
